Setup Mode is reached by holding both buttons simultaneously for 8 seconds until "mi" or "km" appears. Follow these instructions to setup the computer:

Step 1. Calibration: Use the left button to scroll between "mi" for English and "km" for Metric.

English Units If you want the velocity to read in units of ft/sec, keep "mi" on the screen. With "mi" in the lower right corner, push the right button for " CAL." The number beneath "CAL" is the calibration number and was factory-set at 33.31.
Metric units If you prefer for the velocity to read in units of m/sec, change to "km." With "km" in the lower right corner, push the right button for "CAL." Set the calibration number to 1603.
Low Flow Option If you have a flow probe with the low flow, you must stay in "km." The calibration number needs to be set at 2538. Please read over Low Flow Reading section.
To set the calibration number, use your left button to increase the number when the arrow points up and decrease the number when the arrow points down. Holding the left button increments rapidly through the numbers. At the correct number, press the right button to move to the next setup.

Step 2 Default: "RPM" will appear in the bottom right corner. If "CAD" is displayed, push the left button to remove it.
Step 3 Sleep: Push the right button again and "SLEEP" will appear on the display. Unless you want to put your computer in sleep mode, press the right button to move to clock setup.
Step 4 Clock Setup: Use the left button to toggle between 24 hr. and 12 hr. clock. Push the right button to move to the next setup.
Step 5 Set Clock Hour: While the hour digits blink, use the left button to advance the hour. At the correct hour, press the right button.
Step 6 Set Clock Minute: The minute digits blink. Advance them rapidly by holding the left button or one at a time by pressing the left button. At the correct minute, exit Setup Mode by pressing the right button. You will automatically enter Operation Mode.

OPERATION MODE

The Flow Probe computer has a simple 2 - button operation. Use the right button to move between the functions of the operation mode (Velocity, D Function, and Stop Watch / Clock Functions), and use the left button to select the options of each function.

Function	Options
Velocity	Push both buttons simultaneously and release to begin velocity averaging. Top number is the instantaneous velocity (reads to the nearest 0.1 ft/sec). Readings are updated every second. Bottom number: Push left button to toggle between maximum and average velocity (reads to the nearest 0.01 ft/sec.)
D Function	Not applicable
Stop watch/clock function	Top button is the stop watch. Push the left button to start and stop. Push both buttons simultaneously to zero. Bottom number is the time of day.
