Portable pH Meters Product Description
The pH 1970i Portable pH Meters enable you to carry out pH measurements rapidly and reliably. The
portable pH meter provides the maximum degree of operating comfort, reliability and measuring certainty for all applications. The accurate and field-friendly
portable pH meters feature a shock absorbing housing that is not only waterproof (IP67) but will actually float. Plus, the portable pH meter's convenient
carrying handle doubles as meter stand for bench top use. The 1970i Portable pH Meters display pH/temperature or mV/temperature simultaneously, which
makes taking your pH readings easy. The proven MultiCal® calibration procedures and special AutoRead function of the portable pH meters enable precision
measurements that support your work. With it’s GLP memory functions, real-time clock, 800 data point memory capacity and convenient carrying handle,
the pH 1970i portable pH meter is your complete pH measuring system.
A pH probe is not included with the portable pH meters. The portable pH meter's standard BNC electrode connector provides for quick connection of one
of the waterproof pH electrodes listed below, or use your own existing pH probe. Global Water offers many other types of pH electrodes that are compatible
with the portable pH meter. Please call us if you need a special purpose pH electrode for your portable pH meter. NOTE: Always calibrate your portable
pH meter when you add a new pH electrode. Also, if you are using automatic temperature compensation the portable pH meter will automatically detect the type
of temperature being used. If you don't have a temperature sensor attached to the portable pH meter you can manually set the temperature value.
The pH 1970i Portable pH Meters ship complete with NiMH rechargeable batteries, dual-voltage 110/220 VAC adapter, and neck strap. The portable pH meter
has an energy saving feature to avoid unnecessary battery depletion. The energy saving feature switches the portable pH meter off if no key has been
pressed for an hour.
