Hot Wire Anemometers Product Description
The Hot Wire Anemometers accurately measure air flow in either cubic feet or cubic
meters per minute plus temperature. The portable air flow meters can measure air velocities as low as 40 ft/min. The hot
wire anemometer has a telescoping probe that extends up to 4 feet (1.22m) and is ideal for measuring ducts and ventilating systems.
The Hot Wire Anemometers have a 20 point averaging feature. The large LCD screen on the portable air flow meters display air
flow or air velocity plus temperature. The hot wire anemometers can record and recall both minimum and maximum readings. The
portable air flow meters also have data hold and automatic shut off mode after 15 minutes of inactivity features. The hot wire
anemometers have a built in a RS-232 PC serial interface for an optional hot wire anemometer datalogger and PC data acquisition and
analysis software.
The optional Hot Wire Anemometer Datalogger can record up to 8000 readings with a selectable
sampling rate from 1 second to 99 hours. Using the data acquisition software the
portable air flow meters can capture, display, and store readings on a PC. The sampling time of the hot wire anemometers can be
set from 1 second to 60 minutes. The portable air flow meter's data can be exported to standard spreadsheets.
